are Fireworks and Freehand vectors the same ??
      Mon Jun 11 2007 10:29 PM

I've been meaning to get an answer to this for a long time...

Fireworks and Freehand are both graphocs programs with vector drawing tools. The latter being purley vector. But it seems that the two progrmas don't produce the same type of result.

If you draw something with a vetor tool in Fireworks and zoom right in you will notice pixelated edges. As if its not really a vector! I don't mean after I have exported it to a gif or jpeg, but while it is still in the native FW format.

This does not happen in Freehand.

Can someone please explain what is the difference.

Thanks!
