OK, thanks for that link.
Please tell me now though, do I uninstall everything related to the audio before I install the driver?
At the moment following a " System Restore " and according to the " Add or Remove Programmes " in " Control Panel " I have the programme " Avance AC'97 Audio " and " C-Media WDM Audio Driver ", are these to be uninstalled first?
I ask because I experienced problems removing these programmes when I tried before?
In fact I had to use the " Regsupremepro " to eliminate them totally!
I am beginning to get a little paranoid about the whole thing now!!!
