G'day DavidC.
Yep I have the same problem with one DVD rewiter here.
Would write data and verify it as writen ok, but would not re-read the DVD when disk put back into machine, but the same DVD could be read on the other computer. The problem DVD writer would write Video data ok and play back.
The problem was resolved when cake of DVDs were returned for a refund.
New lot every one ok so far.
When I opened the seal on the first lot they didn't look correct.
