Hello ceannev. I'm not too well up on this sort of thing, never having used a webcam, but I'd imagine the image would be rather jerky on a dial-up connection. I'm sure it will work, but BB to BB would be a lot better.
It would probably pay you to re-post in "Reader helps Reader, All other topics", where I'm sure someone will be better able to advise you. There is intelligent life on Earth, but I'm only visiting.
