Thanks for that information, Spencer. I think I will stick with my dynamic IP address.
I don't know what I have done to deserve this favoured treatment. I seem to be getting a lot of spam lately which I forward to the ISP so perhaps they are pleased to have something to do(!)
Incidentally, talking of firewalls I am still using Sygate and assume that it is OK. I originally bought it, so I don't know whether I still have the full version or the free one as it is no longer possible to renew the subscription. Presumably it automatically reverts to the other version unless Sygate did something to stop it happening before they were "killed off" by Symantec? How can one tell which version it is?
