My ISP has said that I can change my dynamic IP address to a fixed one if I want. Can anyone say if there is any advantage (or disadvantage) in having a fixed IP address instead of a dynamic one?
The ISP has said that if I decide to move to a fixed IP address, I will not be able to revert to a dynamic one should I wish to later on.
