Thanks for your reply. System restore has helped a bit, Neither Itunes or Quicktime works properly but the regsitry looks better. I no longer have any unable to open key error messages. Unfortunately I still can't uninstall either Itunes or Quicktime. I'm a bit hesitant to use a registry cleaner/repairer as don't really know what I'm doing!
