msimn.exe. error

i am running windows xp home edition sometimes when ending outlook express or internet explorer i am greeted with this message msimn.exe application error-the instructionat 0x77f8aef referenced memory at 0x009a471c the memory could not be written,click ok to terminate the programme can anybody please help.
