Google Desktop

I am using Google Desktop with a few add ons,like weather info,BBC News,a Scratch Pad and an anologue Clock the problem I have is now and then all my add ons disappear leaving just the blank Desktop frame.What can I do to prevent this happening again ? Regards Tom
