The solution seems to be to use TweakUI and un-tick accounts in the logon section so they don't show on the logon screen and reverse this when access is required. It's OK if access isn't needed too often as it doesn't take long.
It would be nice to have a hotkey solution or macro of some kind but if that's possible I don't know how to do it.
