I am in the process of setting up my BB connection and am having a few problems (it would be no fun if it were easy) your comments about filters has probably cracked one problem for me – thanks for that. It also got me looking at my phone circuits. My house has got two master sockets with a junction box on the outside of the house where the cores of the cable to the master sockets are spliced to the incoming cable cores. Is this normal? If not could this set up have an effect on my BB connection? I have doubts because the guy who used to live here was very keen on DIY but didn’t always do things the right way.
