Thanks bricat and Hello_There. I'll pass on your remarks and let him decide whether to try the program or just bite the bullet and go shopping.
Knowing him and the amount of printing he does then the C62 has been a good servant over the two years. Mine's a C62 as well, older than his even but only used for documents never photos which is my pal's main useage.
