I use Photoshop 7.
It is a professional package and is priced for that market.It has recently been upgrade to Photoshop CS . Again the price reflects the market.It is the industry standard and used by most, if not all graphic designers, including the Webuser team.
Of course there are many other programs available on the market...Photoshop Elements and Paintshop Pro to name but two which are much more reasonable priced.
Always ask the right question, to the right person, and always get the right answer.
