Three words; Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). I'd seriously recommend you use them when your reluctance to change dissipates.

And, for the record, IMO the colours do jar, I'd suggest you use tints, and some colour coordination.

Incidentally, if you are so reluctant to make changes why ask for comments!
