Try using Microsoft Frontpage, alhough it does not seem that popular its very easy to use and understand. I have tried to teach myself HTML and have also used Dreamweaver but like most people time is a real premium and I have found Frontpage so simple and better than the packages that hosting companies give you. A cheap and good book to help is "Frontpage in easy steps" about a tenner
