Amd suit the gamer and are generaly cheaper where as intels offereing is much better when it comes to everyday usage. If going 64 then imo Intel is still the way to go. Either way your mobo isnt going to be much use so youll need to upgrade that too. Maplin do a decent range and the B grade stock is cheap too.
