Can you return the screen to its factory settings? I once messesd up my screen (crt) and just reset it which cured the problem. Also, my monitor has a software update waiting for it on Microsoft update but i wont use it because last time i updated any hardware using Microsoft, my sound card stopped working. With you saying you cant use it in safe mode, maybe youve inadvertantly updated it and its causung this problem. The_DADDY
