Problem Installing PINNACLE PCTV STEREO

While Installing -PINNACLE PCTV STEREO , right at the beginning ERROR MESSAGE comes that-"OLDER VERSION OF PCTV FOUND ON YOUR COMP, FIRST REMOVE IT WITH CONTROL PANEL>ADD/DELETE THEN INSTALL"
Having once removed thr ADD/DELETE the same error message as above comes on repeating while installation.
At my son's suggestion I have deleted all registry entries related to PINNACLE and PCTV using REGEDIT .
But Installtion is returning with same error.
Please suggest some solution.
