hi-yall hope someone can help with this query. when i bootup puter it goes through it's stages and all the while it is giving out a (what i would call a two tone high pitched sound much like the old style police siren or ambulance siren.) while this has not been a problem, as when it checks for authentication/validation the sound stops. but now the only way i can stop the sounds is to restart puter and again it goes through the checks and all sounds then stop. could this be caused by an update install from microsoft, if so do i have to put up with booting up twice. many regards whizzer.
