Sorry i didn't word my post very well , when i said install i meant have you tried to load an application from a cd or disc to your pc. Apologies , as i realize i've thrown you off the original thought that this problem was related to AVID , it's just that googling error 60030 seems to come up with many other possibilities. I think it's important you follow through with BurrWalnut's advice first before trying any thing else. Let us know how it goes.
