Soundcard Problem
      Thu Apr 20 2006 05:23 PM

Baahh! Second Windows XP 64bit edition problem (hopefully the last)...

I have the Conexant AC-Link Audio card on my laptop (please see This Thread for info about my laptop.

Anyway, I have downloaded all the drivers I can find for it, old and new alike but none seem to work. In device manager I get the classic ! symbol next to the hardware and whenever I reinstall it I get Error 10 - Cannot start the hardware.

I have uninstalled the soundcard and restarted my laptop, then reinstalled it with no avail. Does anyone have any idea of what's going on?

Thanks,
Sascha Lopez
