ethenet connection

Quick question for you. I need to add an ethenet connection to the back of my computer so that I can use a router for wireless conection between 2 computers. If I am right I need a ethenet pci adapter card (correct me if I am wrong)

What I would like to know - is it easy to connect one of these ethenet adpaters to the back of a computer. I have never added anything to the computer before so is it easy for a novice to do?
