If the firewall and anti virus is turned off while he tries to stream pics to test this is not the end of the world. This is only a short test to see if he can stream properly while resources are not used in the background. Making people totally paranoid about firewalls and anti virus is not ideal approach to helping them. These items can be restarted again.
