OutLook Ex. simple questionn?

Hi
I'm trying to help someone out, they have had a company install a server and a few pc's, recently norton has caused them to stop recieving email via outlook express.
I've tried everything I can to sort norton out to no avail.
My next idea is to use my own PC and login to their email and then forward the emails to their hotmail account.
I'm not very clued up on POP3 things, :( so this is where I get stuck.
Can I receive their emails on my home pc. what do i need to do to get this working.?
They have given me the password and they are using bt broadband surf anytime.
they have a few different email accounts, one is xxx@mycltd.demon.co.uk and they can recieve messages fine with that, but the other email, xxx@mycltd.co.uk can only send out.
Is it possible, please help....
