A start point would be to try and reinstall IE6. Going to the Microsoft site to do so will give a small download file and then it will try to install IE6 'on the fly' so to speak. A far more reliable method is to download the complete file, save it to a CD and then run the install off line. Click on this link, follow the instructions carefully and you should get IE6 back. All this assumes that you can still get on the net.
