I've heard nothing but bad reports about Freeserve. In fact, tried to sign on to Freeserve for my father (chosing F/Serve because of their special offer), I had nothing but problems and gave up after about 10 attempts. I put him on Virgin's ISP via recommendation and he's had no problems til yesterday (which as I said was probably something Dad did!). Have to say my son uses NTL's 24/7 for £10 p.m. and that is excellent - no problems at all in connecting to the net and excellent value too. I'm happy with NTL's b/band (there's a reason I haven't connected both comps to the b/band at present but hope to do so in future when we move.)
