An easy one for the experts, I'm sure but not for a novice.
I use an IBM Thinkpad - speed 600Mhz - connected to an external Hewlet Packard CD Re-Writer.
The latter is a new acquisition for me but a few years old and with a write / re-write speed of x4. The software came bundled with the writer.
The problem is that burning a CD seems to take so long. For, example, to copy a pretty standard 10 track CD running for, say, 45 minutes takes about an hour and a half.
Is there better software I should be using to speed this up, or am I limited by the speed of the writer?
