Slowing Computer - RemAdm=ProcLaunch!171 Problem!

My computer has slowed in recent weeks. It may be a coincidence but it has been noticeable since a McAfee scan identified RemAdm-ProcLaunch!171 but cannot completely remove it.

Download and run the NORTON REMOVAL TOOL

then REBOOT, and post a fresh HJT log and let me know how it is running.

I downloaded the Norton Removal tool and ran it.

A freash HJT log follows.

Since I last posted, the compter feels like it is taking longer to perform tasks such as booting up, opening progams, recognising USB sticks, displaying charachters typed etc.

   • Clean all entries in the "System" section.

   • Clean all in the Opera section if you use it.
   • Clean Sun Java in the Internet Section.
   • Clean any others that you choose.

4. Click the "Run Cleaner" button.
5. A pop up box will appear advising this process will permanently delete files from your system.
6. Click "OK" and it will scan and clean your system.
7. Click "exit" when done.
