Default How Odd

Just had Grant Shapps* start 'following' me on Twitter.

I've had the usual spammers and number freaks follow me in the past (the former I block, the latter usually 'unfollow' tout de suite when you don't follow them back).

But I wonder; have any Twitter users here had recognisable folk follow them randomly?

I wondering if the real person is actually following you or one of their flunkies who actually writes the entries.

Aussie Hugh Jackman was caught out when back in Sydney and his Twitter entry contained a description of the Sydney Opera Theatre.............

That's like us calling Buckingham Palace, Buckingham Castle.

Of course, you may have something good to say but it could also be someone after votes.

Yes, well, anyone who uses Twitter should be more than aware of the flunky/minion-posting-in-the-name-of syndrome (more so when they just punt and deliver nothing personal). Although some are quite upfront about it - i.e. John Cleese.

That aside my original enquiry still remains (whether master or minion), anyone else...?
