Joke
A rather loud but enthusiastic preacher with a knack for healing was invited to perform his services at a new church.
"Praise the Lord!" he yelled to the expectant congregation. "And praise Him for giving me my gifts!"
"Praise the Lord!" cried the throng.
The preacher then bellowed: "Don't be afraid of the Lord or the way he works! Come up here before me if you have a problem! Watch the Lord through me melt your problems away!"
A young man moved to the front before the preacher. "Bless you my son! What is your problem?" shouted the preacher.
"Well," said the man. "It's my hearing..."
Quick as a flash, the preacher grabbed the man's head and forced him to kneel. He shouted "In the name of Jesus!" several times and vigorously massaged the man's left ear. Then he did the same to the right one.
"Stand up!" cried the preacher. "Tell me son, has the problem gone?"
"Er, well no," replied the man. "The thing is, my hearing isn't until next week..."
