Default The "Accuracy" of People on Google Maps (Is seen globally)

Thought I'd share with you Something that an Awful lot of People are doing on Google Maps and This Includes Googles Staff in Some instances

I used to do Quality Control and My aim was to check that little faults were spotted and rectified
But If Google maps has a Regionalised Moderator/Quality control Team in Place The Maps would be tidier and errors would be Sorted
For iInstance we Had "Argleton" In the Middle of a Farmers field South of Ormskirk Lancs The Google Bot "says " Its a Town Nearest Village is Aughton
Google shows a dozens of Duplicate town names at Medium Resolution and insists on telling us its England or whatever country too on the Road maps!
On Merseyside there are 4 Big glaring Errors
1) Zooming In towards St Helens Who is the Person responsible for Labeling that town Saint Helens? The only place with that spelling on the Planet is the Volcano of the same name In North West America
2) Moving into the Liverpool Suburbs We come to Huyton which Is labled Correctly its alternative Title in the south of the District "Huyton with Roby"
But just to the North who let this in? " Hy ton"(sic)
and for my 3rd Place ...Somewhere everyone knows Aintree RaceCourse
. Has a Bg marker Telling us Its Here
Now Aintree is a Large area extends both sides of the Racecourse
Google Have Omitted a Placename for here There is rather a Large space of roads with no clue visually as to where it is
Mistake #4) At the South end of Aintree There is a Massive Graveyard (actually 2)
Its a Landmark and a few 100 yards from Liverpool Football Ground
Its called Anfield Cemetery, the Larger part of it, and Everton Cemetery the other portion
Yet on Google Maps there is No "Anfield"Cemetery and They are having a Joke !
All that can been seen is Everton

FYI
I was Born in Everton and the real Everton Village is an hours walk away toward town on the Highest Point in Liverpool Overlooking the Docks
PS Everton Fooball club have never played in Everton. Goodison Park is in Walton Vale.Moved from Anfield

Moving on to my other gripe and to paraphrase Eric Morecambe "they aren't going to sell much doing that!"
Google Has let people Insert their own Markers on the Map to guide their Potential customers to their Location (attractions too)
I get the Impression their accuracy in Many cases is Horrendous
I Have made 3 custom Maps so Far and My Placement is Spot on ,zoom right up and Place my marker save and double Check it by closing and reopening the Page zooming in and Out Have had some small issues, but never with placement
The "Visit once place their Mark never check/ visit again " People seem to have something in common ...They don't Zoom in close enough and the Marker is Shown In a Different Street or in an Impossible place

Have just thought on.... If the Location has Streetviiew enabled Your Marker is shown up to be silly if you get it wrong.

The Primary school nearest me is a Good example. It stands out proud on Google Maps (Big Playing Fields) Yet the Placement of its Marker is 100 yards South in the Middle of a block of Houses!

Default Re: The "Accuracy" of People on Google Maps (Is seen globally)

Partially answering Myself

I Checked My own Published Maps and I know I'm accurate at where I pinned the Location Yet when I look again the Location Has Drifted

On My Google StreetView car sightings map the "Drift" is up to about 100 Metres in Any direction!
Has this "Shaky location" Bug been noted by Google Map team?
