Default Script Inoc UI Class - Virus

I have a virus invading my acer laptop. Running Windows XP. It keeps warning me i have 27 trojans on my system when i clear it takes me to a website called windows enterprise defender wanting to charge me for virus software.

When i ran hijack this it said 'you have a particularly large amount of hijacked domains' can any body help.

thanks for reply. This looks a bit too complicated for me but will give it a try if you think i can manage it.
Incidentaly this week the problem dissappeared with a message saying virus removed on booting up one night.
I note however that windows enterprise defender file is still there and it stops other virus software being downloaded. It does not feature as a program that i can delete so i assume it is hiding somewhere.
Any ideas or do i still have to run the software suggested

you'll need to run combofix see we can see what has been installed.

just follow one step at a time, and you should be ok.

decided to have a go tonight. however when i ran HJT the item you said to check seems to have dissapeared (Windows Enterprise Defender)see below. Is this because i have closed down all my open programe files?

hi

ran combo fix i have been back in and found a text file but when opened it doesnt seem to contain very much. unfortunately i tried to copy the page and i must have done something wrong as it didnt post. now when i try to open combofix it just takes me back ronud in circles. either way the virus seems to have gone?
