Spotify - Free Invites??????

I'm trying to convince people to switch from limewire to Spotify, but Spotify is invite only at the mo, and if you pay, you get 2 free invites.

Is there any way of getting them free invites??

I thought that it was invite only, but downloaded the software from Spotify (similar to iTunes software) and ran it straightaway without any problems.

LastFM is useful too
