"Internet Explorer has stopped working"

Every time I try to paste text from my Windows Works Processor I get the above message on screen accompanied by the whole screen ghosting out to a pale blue and IE7 rebooting

Any particular reason why you are running IE v7 rather than v8 willow100?
If not I'd suggest doing that whether it resolves the problem or not.

FTP is slightly trickier with IEv8 but just a different way of working.

Agree with The Wanderer re IE version. Better still go Firefox.
