Hey there,
So to start of with I had to re-format my computer and now I am having problems with getting the video/graphics card to be recognised. I had the driver disc for all such things given to me when I bought the computer, I have got the sound card going but for the life of me can't get the video/graphics card to work.
I followed some steps to see what particular graphic card was installed by doing DXDIAG the run option and it the message it came up with was "The system is using the generic video driver. Please install video driver provided by the hardware manufacturer. Direct3D functionality not available. You should verify that the driver is a final version from the hardware manufacturer"

I'm not the greatest at computers but I'm guessing that the graphics card hasn't been recognised.
I'd be very grateful if someone could offer me some advice or maybe knows what the problem is.
The make of my computer is EVESHAM which I believe are no more so I have no joy of being able to ring or get in contact with there technical support guys.
Hope to hear back from someone soon
