Default Transferring settings, emails and address book from Microsoft Office Office Outlook 2003 to Windows Mail

My Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 has failed the validation test and it would appear that it's going to be nuked in 5 days, therefore I wish to transfer my settings, emails and address book from Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 to Windows Mail that comes free with Windows Vista.

Can anybody advise me if this is actually possible and what I need to do before I loose everything.

Thanks in advance.

In Windows Mail's "File" menu there is an Import option. This may let you import your email messages directly from Outlook. For Contacts, you may have to export these from Outlook to a file which is in a format compatible with Windows Mail, e.g. CSV (Comma Separated Values).
