My daughter is using AVG 8.5 and she updates the anti-virus program and does a complete system scan once a week. Yet when she was about to start the program this morning i noticed that under Statistics => Last scan: Not yet scanned?

Are you sure that your daughter allowed the scans to be completed? System scans can take a long time to complete.

Look up Scan results under History on the AVG toolbar. That should tell you what scans were completed.

If your daughter is sure the scans were completed but can find no results, she should take this up with AVG.
