Default New to firefox quick question

I am getting rather cheesed off with IE7 (cannot copy URLS or copy photos)and am considering downloading firefox as my browser. Will my AVG antivirus still work with this or do I need to download it again

Also is there any way I can swittch between firefox and IE or can you only have one or the other.

Hi, Firefox will work with AVG without any problems at all and you can swap between IE and FF at will, it may take a little getting used to FF but stick with it and you'll never want to go back to IE ever again.

You can have as many browsers as you like. Firefox is my default browser, but I just enjoy using other ones too so I've got several others, IE8, Maxthon, Opera, Safari, Google Chrome and a few more! I've got a nice little row of their icons along my Taskbar (Quick Launch enabled) for easy access and changing browsers quickly - one click and it's done. You can either leave the original browser open or close it if you want to.
