Re: pc keeps rebooting
Here is a link to the Hijack This forum, which bricat asked you to include here so that people would know what's happened up to now.
The link is to page 3 of your HJT thread.

Re: pc keeps rebooting
Could be any one of many hardware faults.
See if you can get it to stop at a blue screen rather than restart:
Right-click My Computer >? Properties.
Click the Advanced tab, then the Settings button under Startup and Recovery.
Remove the tick next to Automatically restart underneath System Failure and click OK to close the boxes.
Hopefully it will now show a blue screen with an error code, rather than restart.
Post the error here, usually along the lines of Stop 0x0000008E.

Re: pc keeps rebooting
If you want to do a clickable link, go to the page you want to link to, highlight the URL in the Address Box, right click and click 'Copy'. Return to the tread where you want to post the link and on the 'Reply' page, where it says 'Instant Mark-Up, click 'URL' and follow the instructions in the little boxes that appear.
You can always click 'Reply ' to this post and practice there. Click 'Continue' to see if what you've done works. You don't actually have to post it if it doesn't seem right to you, just go back to where you were before. I hope I've explained this clearly, please let me know if you want more help.

Re: pc keeps rebooting
If Windows is unable to stop it for a blue screen, it could be the power supply. The only way to find out is buy a tester, buy a new power supply (both not much more than £10 if you look at the top 2 products here), or get a reputable local computer repairer to check it out.

Re: pc keeps rebooting
Richie
I've been having the same problem. Pc 5 yrs old. No blue screen, just restarts. I'm not confident with going in and pulling parts out of pc. Only just managed to add more RAM the other day. Will i be able to change the power supply or is it a shop job. If i can do it on my own, do you have any useful tips so i don't go blowing myself up? Cheers.
