Default Recuva v1.31

The word is spreading that the latest versions of Recuva can be used to recover deleted emails from Thunderbird, Outlook Express, and Windows Mail. That's right - even if you deleted an email from your email program's Trash folder, you should be able to recover it with Recuva.

The main change for this release is that we've added support for email recovery right in the Recuva wizard. On the File Type pane, you'll see that you can now select Emails as a type of file to recover.

As a quick recap: When Recuva finds deleted emails, it gathers them up into a compressed file (called 'Thunderbird Emails.zip' or similar, depending on your email program). You can unzip this file, which contains the emails as .EML files -- one for each email. Most email programs enable you to re-import these EML files.

Even if you don't use the Wizard, you can still search for deleted emails by selecting Emails in the Filename or path drop-down box. Give it a try!

The full change log is below:

• Added email recovery to Wizard.
• Improvements to Thunderbird email recovery.
• Improved handling of very large exFAT drives.
• Various stability fixes in 64-bit version.
• Updated installer to allow Recuva to run at the end.
• Added Estonian language support.
