Default Free online floral tribute card maker?

Hi,

I've had a thorough search, both on the web and here, but unfortunately nothing's cropped up.

I'm looking for some free online program/software/site that will enable me to make a personalised floral tribute sympathy card for my Mum's funeral. You know the kind of thing, the cards that are attached to the flowers. 6cm x 9cm in size.

If anyone knows of such a site or software, please could you point me in that direction.

Thanks, as always, in advance,

wired

Morning wired

Firstly may I say how sorry I am in the circumstances trying to help you.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

My help maybe rather late, but it's a lovely personal touch to create your own floral card if you have the time.

Firstly, I would download and install this program -->> Paint.Net <<--

Secondly, go to say -->> Google.co.uk <<-- where I have looked for 'corner flowers' as 'clip art' in the search criteria.
Once you see something you think might suit the occasion, double click the image to take you to the website it 'belongs' to. Right click the image(s) and save to your hard drive. I have saved my examples to the Desktop and you will see why in the link to the short video I have created to try help you.

When you open Paint.Net, if the window is full size, reduce in size to see your downloaded images that you want to use. You can also move those around the Desktop to move closer to the window if required.

I have chosen a size of 9cm x 6cm in this example and importantly a resolution of 300 pixel per inch for printing reasons.
To save time I have also pasted in some pre-copied text. You can either do the same, or type in what you'd like. The text 'style' is of course your choice and will be limited to what you have on your system.

Each time you move or resize a 'layer', be sure to click 'Enter' to 'deselect' it.

Here is the short video -->> Floral card created in Paint.NET <<--

I have done it rather quickly, and I'm sure if you try this method, you will make a more fitting tribute to your dear Mum when you have initially overcome the learning curve, time permitting. If you don't use it on this occasion, perhaps another under better circumstances.
There are other methods to import images, but I have chosen drag & drop in this instance.

Please note, that images you may come across could be copyright protected and you should be aware of that.

I hope this helps you out a little.

Fusion,

Mate, thanks ever so much for taking the time and the trouble to do this. I'm sorry I haven't replied to your post. What with one thing and another.........you know.

Kind of restored my faith in Human Nature.

Thanks again mate,

Hello wired

Don't worry about not replying. Times like you have gone through, and still are, face us all at at some point in our lives and forums are not a priority.

However, thanks for getting back and it really is no trouble at all.

If I can help out in the future, give me a shout.

Catch you later.
