Progam wont uninstall

Downloaded MP3 Player 4.00 and found it didnt work so tried to uninstall it, but a window comes up halfway through the process saying.
.' There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program required for install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.'
Could someone please help me with removing this program?

Try re-install the program. if successful, it may sense you already have it installed and offer a repair, modification or uninstall option. If it has the later, try to uninstall.
Usually 'well writen' programs have these options so don't be surprised if you don't get them.

If you don't get the options, and it just reinstalls, try the uninstall via Add/Remove option in the Control Panel. It will of course depend on your operating system what it comes under in the CP.

I can't guarantee it will work, but it's a good programme to have anyway.
