No WiFi WLAN connection

I've re-installed Vista on my Advent QC430. the light which indicates that there is a wireless conection is not lit up and I have no connection with my router. I can get a connection via ethernet.

My router / WiFi is working as I have tried it with another computer.

What should I do now please. Any help gratefully received.

It's solved itself when I did a Windows update. Maybe there were a load of updates which needed to be done after my re-installation. Apologies for any inconvenience.
