Hi OurStanley,

Sorry, I have recently started using Online Armor, after you showed how to get the $39.99 discount for the premium edition.

Does this update itself, or do I need to download the CoU IP Blocklist Updater?

Many Thanks, Mugsy.

The file can be added manually from here or by using the updater but you will still have to install the blocklist manually.
At present the updater will only inform you when there is a CoU Blocklist update and will download the same to a location of your choice, you will then have to add it manually to your respective firewall. Below are a couple of threads to the first two versions of the CoU IP Blocklist Updater. (Note the first thread is now locked)

Hi Our Stanley. I now have the blocklist sitting on my desktop.

The instructions say: 'Click Firewall in Online Armor, select the Blacklists tab. Click "Add" button then browse to the blocklist text file.'

I don't seem to have the 'blacklist' tab! It does say blocklist is only supported by the premium edition. I'm sure I do have this, as I have the webshield, mailshield etc.

When I go to the 'firewall' section, the tabs are:

Program Access, Rules, Interfaces & Computers.

Have I missed something? Sorry to be a pain, Mugsy

Thanks. The only time the firewall tab doesn't show is when 'Banking Mode' is selected ... Standard Mode

Mmm don't know whats going on there then but at least you have the Blacklists Tab in the Advanced Mode. You may get a definitive answer at the Online Armor forum but you'll have to register first. I did a search using 'Blacklists Tab' which threw up loads of threads but I ain't got time to work through them, sorry.
