Default Profile deleting

Hi, not sure if this is in the right forum, but I'll post anyway....

My problem seems trivial but it's vital I get it sorted. I created a profile on a network site called XuQa 3 years ago - didn't occur to me to edit what went on it. Forgot about it as soon as I made it, until a work colleague said they had googled my name and the profile comes up!

I want it deleted, but none of my password/email combos work. Their 'contact' system keeps cancelling my emails because my address isn't on their system. I have two email accounts (one is a uni address) which are now defunct so it could be these, although I have tried them but with no password it's fruitless. I have tried a general feedback@xuqa.com address as well but no reply.

Anyone got any suggestions as to how I can get it deleted?

You could try this option -->> XuQa Customer Support <<-- and explain the problem in the message box.

No guarantees of any reply, but worth a try.

Good luck.

This is the 'ticket' system I was referring to! I've done this 5 times now

I think that because my email add is not on their system they ignore my messages. The first one I wrote they replied, asking for emails it could be, which I gave and which they subsequently said were not on their system.

Other than this I don't know how to contact them! Is there not a company that can delete this for me? Long shot I know. I pretty much always use the same passwords and emails so I don't understand why nothing is registered on their system. Now I'm older any profiles I make I ensure are something I wouldn't mind future employers seeing!

I would suggest going through the -->> Registration process <<-- with fictitious details for a profile if you have to use a profile. Use a throw away email account (create a Hotmail one if necessary) and false date of birth etc.

Once 'inside', you may be able to search, find and look at your old profile and use any information you can see as further proof to convince the admin who you are for deletion purposes.

That's the thing, I can see my old profile! And so can anyone who googles my name . I forgot my details for online payment the other day - all i needed was to answer my security question and DOB and i was in! Why can't this be as simple??

Actually, it is that simple. You only have to input your user name & password!
No different to a security question and/or DOB.

There are options in the XUQA -> Preferences to change who sees you. If you haven't bothered to change any of the default settings, I'm afraid the world can see you. XUQA give you that option as part of the 'Privacy' conditions of the site. It's not their fault that you can't remember.

It's a fact of internet life that if you put any information 'up there', it is available to see if you know where to look.

The Moral of the story is, don't put it up there in the first place. Sorry I couldn't help you further.

Yeah, like I said, I know that now! The folly of youth meant I didn't think of that then

I'm not really bemoaning the fact that I forgot my password etc (totally my fault, though it is strange that nothing I can think of works) just that they're impossible to contact. This was really what I was reaching out to find - if anyone knew of alternative methods of contacting this website. Thanks anyway though!
