Default OUVIP

Hello
Can anyone advise
As a former Open University student I have used BREATHE to host my email service (ouvip.com)for many years.
Last month they changed to 'A NEW IMPROVED PLATFORM' which is useless.
I have now received an email from SPIDER NETWORKS offering that a transfer to them as my provider will enable me to access all my previous emails and return to my previous email interface.

The story is that Breathe Networks is not so much experiencing technical problems but has actually gone BUST.

Is this true?
Am I well advised to transfer to SPIDER?

Since a transfer will mean a change of email address I am reluctant BUT need to get acces to my previous data.

Amy advice/information would be much appreciated

This link suggests that your supposition is correct - they are in trouble. The comments at the bottom suggest you jump ship straight away.

I've never heard of Spider networks but I would be concerned about any company that seems to have bought 10 similar sounding domain names and flooded Google with them.

You might find this article from FWI (Farmers Weekly Interactive) interesting.
It may be worth checking the status of your existing e-mail account with the new owner, Breathe Internet, before making any changes.
