Default How to I watch a speeded up video in normal speed?

Someone has posted up a video on youtube which is 'speeded up' but I'd love to watch it in normal speed. Does anybody know if that can be done?

Assuming you have downloaded the video to your HDD, open Windows Media Player, start the video and go to the menu Bar and select Play -> Play speed.
You only have 3 settings, Fast, Normal and Slow.

Try the different speeds.

Alternatively, again if you have downloaded the video, open Movie Maker (C:\Program Files\Movie Maker), Import the video, drag it into the time line then go to Tools -> Effects then look for half slow. Drag the 'half slow' to the beginning of the movie in the time line and play to see the results.

If the speed is correct, go to File -> Save Movie File -> Save as required.

These options may help.

I didn't add that you can also, whilst playing in Windows Media Player, press the Now Playing tab -> Enhancements -> Play speed settings.

This should give you more control over the speed using the slider control.

If you play it on the VLC media player I think it has a wider range of speeds than the other media players
www.videolan.org/vlc/
Just right click the File (after installation) select Open with VLC and the Program will do the rest. The basic Controls are straight forward to "slooow down" click once on the "Double Black arrows" on the Left of the bar. To speed up click on the Right "Arrows" The play speed is indicated in the small box adjacent to the Track /time box
The default is "1.00x"
