Can we have an OS/CPU "upgrade" survey Poll x2

This is a Timely request as in June you had a Poll for "what OS are you using Currently" Is it the logical next thing in the chain to ask (money no object) "What will be the OS running on your computer in 2010?" Struggle with Vista ,Keep the Faith with (To fade?)XP, or Run Windows 7?

Ditto Processors Speeds what would you like to power your computer in 2010

A 2 ghz Processor
A 2 ghz duo core Processor
A 2 ghz triple core Processor
A 2 ghz 4 core Processor


Helpful Technical pointer Look at a site like BOINC Stats and the Hosts List page there you can see the Current situation as to what the "World"(Boinc Community) is up & downloading data to the BOINC program:
Their Favourite chip is Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz out of 4124 processors

Mine is circa 100-120 on the List which can be manipulated to show the best returns ect.Nothing about Motherboards/Mainboards whose choice also reflects/influences the "Return" factor

FYI The below 1 ghz processor optimised applications are starting to get a bit sparse and B)Broadband speeds can be "Limited" by processor power on some applications eg. Up and downloading
