Default Missing pointer in IE?

Hello everyone,
A few days ago, my pointer in IE started acting funny. In IE,instead of turning from a pointer to a hand when hovering over links only, it is constantly a hand. It works fine in Firefox. It's kind of annoying. Any ideas?
Thanks, Alan

Try opening IE without add-ons:

Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

If that solves your problem, it's a dodgy Add-on.

It worked, but is there a disadvantage to running with no-addons?

This tells us that your problem is more than likely to be an enabled Add-on.

Now restart IE, it will have the add-ons active again and no doubt your cursor pointer is back to how it was.

Go to the Tools menu -> Manage Add-ons -> Enable or Disable Add-ons option.
Select an add-on name on the list and then click the Disable option under the Settings section.

Restart IE.

If the problem is solved, that Add-on was the problem. If not, repeat the process, this means closing IE every time then restarting, till your cursor returns to normal.

Note which Add-on appears to be the culprit so you can enable the ones which aren't causing a problem.

I just disabled all of my add-ons and determined that it was IE7PRO causing the problem. I disabled my only userscript and it didn't matter. The problem is IE7PRO itself.

Found it! IE7PRO "Grab and Drag" was causing it. I clicked it and it was gone. Thanks
