hi y'all back again this question is re-IE8 is it possible to have open with mozilla as well as internet explorer but not with same active page? like being able to toggle between both browsers at the same time for comparison? thanks in anticipation. whizzer. yep it is, but why you would want to use IE8 instead of having a separate tab [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

As rayinski says, you can do this, very easily. But to achieve a comparison between the two browsers, having the 'active' page the same would give you a more accurate comparison.

You can change either browsers 'active' page as you would normally for further comparisons.

There is no settings to get, you simply open Firefox, make the Window half the size of your screen. Then do exactly the same with IE.

Result - 2 browsers showing together.

hi fusion sorry about delay in getting back 2 you but struck down with some sort of nasty and computers was the furthest from my mind.but alls well now!sorted
